Andrean Malindan is a picture of a determined learner of Sitio Tinago. He believes he can have a better chance in life than his parents and other residents who have not gone to school. He is a 10-year old grade four learner known as “Bakang” because of his inborn limb deformity making it doubly difficult for him to traverse the rocky and jagged road of a far flung Sitio Tinago to the nearest school.
